1. What tasks have you completed recently? Recently, I’ve completed online simulations, UT homework, in class assignments concerning atomic mass and number, and I’ve studied for the unit exam. I’ve also taken the unit exam and completed the electron JiTT. 2. What have you learned recently? Recently, I’ve learned how to calculate average weighted atomic mass from all of an elements different isotopes. I also learned of scientists and their important contributions to our modern model of the atom. I’ve also learned what isotopes and ions are and have a rudimentary understanding about the subatomic particles that make up the atom. 3. What are you planning on doing next to improve your understanding or reinforce your learning? In order to improve my learning, I’m going to read up on electrons and their organization because I think that’s what we’re going to do next.
